Hotel Schweizerhof St. Moritz

Very friendly staff - they upgraded us to a lovely lake-view room. Fantastic breakfast - lovely 'grand' style.

It is exceptionally clean with the town view, good enough for one night.

Fruit and cheese in the morning. Great and stunning location - so close to restaurants as well as the town centre. Delicious food in the restaurants such as Balthazar, located 5 min away...

Everything was well-maintained, had a comfortable stay for 3 nights at this hotel. The beds were extremely comfy, the room was practical and big with the town view. The location was fab in the Acla restaurant, so close to Schiefer Turm. The breakfast in the outdoor restaurant for evening meals was varied.

The transfer to/from the train station was very convenient and the hotel was quite closely situated to station (except that it was on a hill). Unfortunately, we went on a May weekend that everything was closed despite staying just opposite the international luxury shops. Staff, Myriam, was very helpful. The buffet breakfast was superb and had a good variety. Room was just sufficient for a couple but very comfortable.

As with most Swiss venues, the restaurant prices were exhorbitant and the room did not come with coffee/tea facilities.

Central location - very close to ski lift.

Our room was old, out of style, and noisy.

Location. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Ski storage. Minibar. Double bed. Good pillows. Sauna. Transfer arrangement to the train station.

A small first floor room facing a busy street and equally small bathroom. Inadequate shower facilities with shower curtain. Loud music at nights from the basement bars. No bans on smoking in bars. A strange habit of the cleaning crew to check your room between 7-9 pm and without knocking the door.

There was a confusion about my reservation. The hotel had only received booking information for one room, I did book two

The hotel offered a fantastic view and really good service, with friendly staff that made a difference. The breakfast was enjoyable with a good selection. The noise from nearby celebrations could be intrusive at times, and the bathroom showed some signs of age.

The only negative issue was about the reservation prepayment. The Booked.net site clearly stated that there is no deposit charged in the moment of reservation, only in case of cancellation one week before the trip. However dispite the fact that I reserved almost 1 month before coming to the hotel, a deposit for 2 nights (750 Swiss francs) was blocked on my credit card account the next day after the reservation was done. SO! or the Booked.net has to clearly state the reservation terms on the web site or the hotel not to charge the reservation deposit. .

The helpfullness from the employees, localization and all the aditional gifts that we receive. Great room, Great view from the montains.

The internet could be for free, like most hotels in Europe. The breakfast could have a little more options.
